The Kuwait Cultural Office in Dublin was pleased to welcome a delegation from University College Dublin (UCD), including Professor Catherine Godson, International Dean of the School of Medicine; Professor Aifric O'Sullivan, Vice-President International, College of Health and Agriculture; Ms. Smaranda Sava, Program Manager; and Ms. Katie Kelly, International Students Conversion Manager. They were welcomed by Professor Fahimah A. Alawadhi, Head of the Kuwait Cultural Office, and Ms. Khadidja Amiar, Academic Advisor.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen the ongoing partnership between the Kuwait Cultural Office and UCD and to discuss matters related to Kuwaiti scholarship students. Discussions focused on the medical program and student seats, academic regulations, and opportunities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

During a successful visit to Cork, our MOHE & CSC students met with the Head of the Cultural Office and the Cultural Counsellor, Prof. Fahimah A. Alawadhi. The Kuwait Cultural Office had the pleasure of meeting with representatives from Trinity College Dublin, Ms. Nora Varga, the Student Recruitment & Admissions Manager of International Foundation Programme and Mr. Antonio De Linares the Regional Manager of Middle East and North Africa.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the strong academic progress of current Kuwaiti students enrolled in both the Foundation and Undergraduate programmes, as well as to discuss aspects related to their adaptation and overall university experience.
Further discussions addressed the future recruitment of Kuwaiti students and the exploration of new academic disciplines that may be introduced for the 2026/2027 academic year, including potential programmes such as Nursing, and the possibility of increasing the number of medicine seats allocated to Kuwaiti students.
The university also outlined key elements of its admissions process, emphasizing the importance of thorough interview preparation. Trinity College Dublin encouraged prospective students to review the university's website carefully prior to their interviews as part of their preparation.

What a fantastic achievement! Both Noof and Hamad are excellent representatives of Kuwaiti students abroad and have made Kuwait very proud indeed.

We wish to congratulate newly graduated student Arwa Aldafeeri on her fantastic accomplishment on being the first Kuwaiti graduate from the School of Podiatry in the University of Galway.Arwa’s research proposal examined "The extent to which Podiatry is a recognised Profession in Kuwait compared with Ireland”.We are so very proud of Arwa and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours!

Consilio Manuque Award. She was awarded in that ceremony for the Teamwork award, which are students that obtain the highest mark in a team project.
